Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 21–2003","heading":"","body":"(a) This section does not apply to the hours of sale on December 31 and January 1 set out in § 21–2007 of this subtitle.\n(b) (1) A holder of a Class A beer and wine license may sell beer and wine on Monday through Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(2) Sunday sales are allowed from 6 a.m. to midnight in:\n(i) election districts 11 and 15; and\n(ii) any other election district or precinct of an election district in which the voters in a referendum authorized by law approve Sunday sales as specified in this paragraph.\n(c) (1) A holder of a Class B beer and wine license may sell beer and wine on Monday through Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(2) Sunday sales are allowed from 6 a.m. to midnight in:\n(i) election districts 11 and 15; and\n(ii) any other election district or precinct of an election district in which the voters in a referendum authorized by law approve Sunday sales as specified in this paragraph.\n(d) Reserved.\n(e) (1) A holder of a Class D beer and wine license may sell beer and wine on Monday through Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(2) Sunday sales are allowed from 6 a.m. to midnight in:\n(i) election districts 11 and 15; and\n(ii) any other election district or precinct of an election district in which the voters in a referendum authorized by law approve Sunday sales as specified in this paragraph.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=21-2003","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"4efa2b24ef9c50b96f8a61762fb7317d51fd4c6acf9e985168ae31b4b786d756","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-21-2002","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-21-2004"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
