Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 22–1004.2","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a hotel lobby license.\n(b) The Board may issue the license for use by a hotel that does not have a restaurant.\n(c) (1) A license authorizes the license holder to sell beer, wine, and liquor from a store in the hotel lobby to patrons of the hotel for on–premises consumption.\n(2) Beer may be sold only in a can or bottle that does not exceed 12 ounces.\n(3) Wine may be sold only in a bottle that does not exceed 750 milliliters.\n(4) Liquor may be sold only in a bottle that does not exceed 50 milliliters.\n(d) A license holder may sell beer, wine, and liquor:\n(1) on Monday through Saturday, from noon to 10 p.m.; and\n(2) on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.\n(e) A license holder may not sell beer, wine, and liquor:\n(1) through a vending machine; or\n(2) by stocking beer, wine, and liquor in a guest room for purchase.\n(f) The annual license fee is $1,250.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=22-1004.2","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"bd16f46720e6a65411dd3c20323ebed326b194024e8ce7c36dc672dcdae1af81","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-1004.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-1005"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
