Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 22–1305","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a beer and wine tasting (BWT) license.\n(b) The Board may issue the license to a holder of a Class A beer and wine (BW) license.\n(c) (1) The license authorizes the holder to allow the on–premises consumption of beer and wine for tasting.\n(2) The license may be issued for a maximum of:\n(i) any 26 days in a licensing period;\n(ii) any 52 days in a licensing period; or\n(iii) an entire licensing period.\n(3) If a license holder is issued a license for any 26 days in a licensing period or any 52 days in a licensing period, the license holder must notify the Board at least 7 days before exercising the privileges of the license.\n(d) An individual may consume beer or wine covered by the license in a quantity of not more than 1 ounce from each offering of beer or wine.\n(e) The license fee is:\n(1) $100 for a 26–day license;\n(2) $150 for a 52–day license; and\n(3) $225 for a 1–year license.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=22-1305","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"3ff2794cad71ad5102adc75d9ed34a58ab12351769a24f94eb213c430055b2d6","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-1301","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-1306"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
