Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 22–1309","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) A simple majority of the total number of the members of the Board may act to approve or deny an application for a per diem license:\n(i) in a formal meeting, with a quorum present; or\n(ii) in accordance with paragraph (2) of this subsection, through oral or written contact by any method by the chair with each member of the Board.\n(2) The chair shall make a written record under paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection of how each member and the chair voted.\n(b) The Board may not require the publication of an application for a per diem license as a prerequisite to the issuing of the license.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=22-1309","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"97a94e34ca8110a8b9decfe13c504c67658aa3ed571a05b2b73e22e3d027afcd","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-1306","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-1309.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
