Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 22–1311","heading":"","body":"(a) The Board may issue to a fire department a multiple event beer and wine license.\n(b) (1) The license holder may sell or provide beer and wine for on–premises consumption:\n(i) at an entertainment event held by the fire department; or\n(ii) by a person who has rented or leased an area of the licensed premises for an event and guests who attend the event.\n(2) The license holder shall:\n(i) contract to provide food for consumption at the event described in paragraph(1)(ii) of this subsection; or\n(ii) ensure that food will be available for consumption at the event described in paragraph (1)(ii) of this subsection.\n(3) This section does not prohibit a fire department from obtaining a Class C per diem license.\n(c) (1) The license shall be in the form that the Board requires.\n(2) The applicant shall sign the license.\n(d) (1) The Board may not:\n(i) issue for a fire department a multiple event beer and wine license more than one time in any year; or\n(ii) authorize a multiple event beer and wine license for more than 40 days in a calendar year.\n(2) A license holder shall notify the Board in writing at least 7 days before each event for which the license is to be used.\n(e) The annual license fees are:\n(1) $150 for not more than 10 events per year;\n(2) $300 for not more than 20 events per year;\n(3) $450 for not more than 30 events per year; and\n(4) $600 for not more than 40 events per year.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=22-1311","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"79397f39416892c2dd91f1a528bd4d03a86b821315a5c4fadf5c5ddea2d335ee","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-1309.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-1401"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
