Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 22–2004","heading":"","body":"(a) A holder of a Class A beer, wine, and liquor license may sell beer, wine, and liquor on Monday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(b) A holder of a Class B beer, wine, and liquor license may sell beer, wine, and liquor on Monday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(c) A holder of a Class B–3 beer, wine, and liquor license may sell beer, wine, and liquor:\n(1) for a 6–day license, on Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and\n(2) for a 7–day license, on Monday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(d) (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, a holder of a Class BFD (fine dining) on–sale beer, wine, and liquor license may sell beer, wine, and liquor:\n(i) for a 6–day license, on Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and\n(ii) for a 7–day license, on Monday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(2) The restaurant for which a Class BFD license is issued shall open for business not later than 5 p.m.\n(e) A holder of a Class BNR on–sale beer, wine, and liquor license may sell beer, wine, and liquor on Monday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(f) (1) This subsection applies to Class C–1, C–2, and C–3 (on–sale) organization or club beer, wine, and liquor licenses.\n(2) A holder of a Class C beer, wine, and liquor license may sell beer, wine, and liquor:\n(i) for a 6–day license, on Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and\n(ii) for a 7–day license, on Monday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(g) A holder of a Class D beer, wine, and liquor license may sell beer, wine, and liquor on Monday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=22-2004","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"2ef1552214fa3084a49206fb5d2a2f4896ee773802630635247a8738003c4798","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-2003","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-2005"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
