Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 22–2703","heading":"","body":"A person may possess alcoholic beverages on the premises of a license holder if:\n(1) the alcoholic beverages are owned by a member of a club licensed for the sale of beer and wine or beer, wine, and liquor and are consumed on the premises;\n(2) the alcoholic beverages:\n(i) have been brought on the premises of an on–sale restaurant for consumption and use in a private dining room at a private gathering; and\n(ii) have not been provided by the license holder of the restaurant; or\n(3) a dance or social event is:\n(i) held on the premises of an establishment of a holder of a Class C license; and\n(ii) 1. advertised as being bring your own (BYO); or\n2. sponsored by a member of the club or by a guest that a club member sponsors.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=22-2703","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"66c5611fd089bc63e5ff27509c51f59346b622662f862621881f64cb4bb5cd4c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-2702","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-2704"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
