Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 22–2706","heading":"","body":"(a) A license holder who operates a pool or billiard parlor on the licensed premises may not allow an individual under the age of 18 years, unless accompanied by a parent, to enter into or loiter about the part of the premises devoted to the playing of pool or billiards.\n(b) After a public hearing, if the Board determines that a license holder or an agent or employee of the license holder has violated this section, the Board may impose:\n(1) for a first offense within the licensing period:\n(i) a fine not exceeding $2,000; or\n(ii) suspension or revocation of the license; or\n(2) for a subsequent offense within the same licensing period as the first offense:\n(i) a fine not exceeding $2,000; and\n(ii) suspension or revocation of the license.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=22-2706","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"4de0390290de9952fc6afe0a506360a2e074e207d9c64513b37a7bb539fd8f03","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-2705","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-22-2801"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
