Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 23–603","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a Class C beer license.\n(b) (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, the license authorizes the license holder to sell beer at retail to members of a club and their guests at the place described in the license for on–premises consumption.\n(2) A license may be issued only to a club:\n(i) that is composed exclusively of members who served in the armed forces of the United States;\n(ii) that is affiliated with a national organization;\n(iii) that has at least 75 members who paid dues as required by its national organization in the year immediately preceding the year for which the license is issued;\n(iv) with at least 75% of its membership consisting of individuals who have resided in the county for at least 2 years immediately preceding the date of the application for the license; and\n(v) that has maintained a post in the county for at least 3 years immediately preceding the date of the application.\n(c) The annual license fee is $25.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=23-603","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"f3053c3aaa5ac15775bd1c5c273be647e40a23afe8606d2c3755d0f8ba35c737","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-23-602","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-23-604"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
