Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 24–1304","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a beer, wine, and liquor tasting (BWLT) license.\n(b) The Board may issue the license to a holder of a Class A license.\n(c) The license authorizes the holder to allow the on–premises consumption for tasting of:\n(1) beer, if the underlying license of the holder is a Class A beer license;\n(2) wine, if the underlying license of the holder is a Class A wine license;\n(3) beer and wine, if the underlying license of the holder is a Class A beer and wine license; and\n(4) beer, wine, and liquor, if the underlying license of the holder is a Class A beer, wine, and liquor license.\n(d) The license authorizes the holder to allow an individual to taste in 1 day not more than:\n(1) 2 ounces of beer from each offering and 6 ounces from all offerings of beer;\n(2) 2 ounces of wine from each offering and 4 ounces from all offerings of wine; and\n(3) one–half ounce of liquor from each offering and 1.5 ounces from all offerings of liquor.\n(e) In addition to a fee for any other license held by the license holder, the annual fee for a BWLT license is $200.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=24-1304","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"c3c0f7f331422cc962ccd12378b7e56af6f9f3a11bea295ae19440903c0397c5","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-24-1301","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-24-1307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
