Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 24–2705","heading":"","body":"(a) An individual under the age of 21 years may not:\n(1) enter the licensed premises; or\n(2) knowingly make a false statement concerning the individual’s age to gain entrance to the establishment.\n(b) An individual who violates subsection (a)(2) of this section:\n(1) shall be issued a citation under § 10–119 of the Criminal Law Article by a police officer or alcoholic beverages inspector; and\n(2) is subject to the penalties provided in § 10–119 of the Criminal Law Article.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=24-2705","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"568ca4c9db4d4ef6ad16afc177b18f77d90e7c900900152e25996bdc1353b667","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-24-2704","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-24-2706"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
