Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 25–1502","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) When acting on a license application, the Board shall issue a written decision that contains:\n(i) a detailed statement of the grounds and findings that support the decision; and\n(ii) the vote of each member of the Board on the decision.\n(2) The Board shall forward a copy of the written decision in a manner that the Board determines to the applicant and each person who requests a copy.\n(3) If the application is denied, the Board shall inform the applicant in writing of the procedures for judicial review.\n(b) The Board shall make a decision on a license application based on the evidence of record.\n(c) The Board shall adopt rules of procedure, subject to the approval of the County Council.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=25-1502","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"f94d8a875fa95562116ecd5f26ccd5f6b68a5de3ccace3b210366d3396b1cd66","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-25-1501","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-25-1503"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
