Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 25–1609","heading":"","body":"(a) The Board may not issue:\n(1) a Class H beer and wine license:\n(i) for use in conjunction with, on the site of, or to a restaurant in a drugstore; or\n(ii) for use in an establishment with a door, an archway, an opening, or other passageway providing direct public access to a drugstore; or\n(2) a Class D license:\n(i) for use in conjunction with, on the site of, or to a bowling alley, billiard hall, or drugstore;\n(ii) for use in an establishment with a door, an archway, an opening, or other passageway providing direct public access to a bowling alley, billiard hall, or drugstore; or\n(iii) for use in conjunction with, on the site of, or to a restaurant in a bowling alley, billiard hall, or drugstore.\n(b) This section does not apply to a drugstore or adjoining establishment that on July 1, 1969:\n(1) held a Class D license; and\n(2) had a door, an archway, an opening, or other passageway providing direct public access to any drugstore.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=25-1609","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"6708928a7866eb735b66c4d98e77a63362a555e7900aa1b25c82f80236a9245c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-25-1607","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-25-1610"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
