Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 25–1903","heading":"","body":"(a) The license holder or an individual designated by the license holder who is employed in a supervisory capacity shall be:\n(1) certified by an approved alcohol awareness program; and\n(2) present on the licensed premises during the hours in which alcoholic beverages may be sold.\n(b) A license holder who violates this section is subject to:\n(1) for a first offense, a $100 fine; and\n(2) for each subsequent offense, a fine not exceeding $500 or a suspension or revocation of the license or both.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=25-1903","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"9ef58bd4073d62a16ce4af0bf55f7c469dc9cf3d2a99ce26b2347fb517391f7d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-25-1902","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-25-1904"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
