Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 25–2004","heading":"","body":"(a) A holder of a Class A beer and wine license may sell beer and wine Monday through Sunday, from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. the following day.\n(b) A holder of a Class B beer and wine license may sell beer and wine:\n(1) for on–premises consumption, on Monday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and\n(2) for off–premises consumption, on Monday through Sunday, from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. the following day.\n(c) (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, a holder of a Class B–K beer and wine license may sell beer and wine on Monday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. the following day.\n(2) The license holder may not sell beer or wine after midnight if the licensed establishment is in a commercial area specified in § 25–1604(b)(1)(ii)9 through 13 of this title.\n(d) A holder of a Class C beer and wine license may sell beer and wine on Monday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(e) A holder of a Class D beer and wine license may sell beer and wine:\n(1) for on–premises consumption, on Monday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and\n(2) for off–premises consumption, on Monday through Sunday, from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. the following day.\n(f) A holder of a Class H beer and wine license may sell beer and wine for on–premises consumption on Monday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=25-2004","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"e3b464b91d7de42c5021c8db03571f36a4c1fa33c2a198c5733b3145640ec97f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-25-2003","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-25-2005"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
