Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 26–1708","heading":"","body":"(a) For a Class C beer, wine, and liquor license issued for the use of a corporation or club, the license holder may substitute on the license the name of a different officer for the name of any officer who:\n(1) has died;\n(2) has retired; or\n(3) no longer holds an office in the corporation or club.\n(b) The license holder shall file an affidavit with the Board that contains:\n(1) the substitution of the officer; and\n(2) an explanation for the substitution.\n(c) On receipt of the affidavit, the Board shall:\n(1) amend its record; and\n(2) issue a corrected license.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=26-1708","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"5ce66479e7d9a3aeeb90215cee611a360521e051446ee42b4b4e9f0e8bf9b659","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-26-1707","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-26-1709"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
