Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 26–2802","heading":"","body":"(a) This section applies to a violation that is cause for suspension or revocation of a license.\n(b) Instead of or in addition to suspending or revoking the license, the Board may:\n(1) for a first offense:\n(i) except as provided in item (ii) of this item, impose a fine not exceeding $1,500; or\n(ii) for a violation of § 10–117 of the Criminal Law Article, impose a fine of $1,500;\n(2) for a second offense in the same 24–month period, impose a fine not exceeding $6,000; and\n(3) for a third offense in the same 24–month period, impose a fine of $7,500.\n(c) For a fourth offense in the same 24–month period, the Board shall suspend the license for 30 days, unless the Board revokes the license.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=26-2802","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"760432c33e93d06d8017edfef17b2465326095204114daf8dc6b9f42320b509d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-26-2801.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-26-2803"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
