Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 27–906","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a Class D beer, wine, and liquor license.\n(b) (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, the license authorizes the license holder to sell:\n(i) beer, wine, and liquor for on–premises consumption; and\n(ii) beer for off–premises consumption.\n(2) A holder of a Class D beer, wine, and liquor license and a Class 9 limited distillery license:\n(i) may sell:\n1. beer, wine, and liquor for on–premises consumption; and\n2. liquor that is distilled at the location described in the license for off–premises consumption; but\n(ii) may not sell beer for off–premises consumption.\n(c) The license may not be issued for use by a drugstore.\n(d) The annual license fee is $1,800.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=27-906","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"828f1b05c62bf7fdfc9a1a3231a212bd230a89e0fb09a889fe2585987fc60c54","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-27-905","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-27-1001"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
