Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 28–1309","heading":"","body":"(a) There is:\n(1) a Class C per diem beer license;\n(2) a Class C per diem beer and wine license; and\n(3) a Class C per diem beer, wine, and liquor license.\n(b) The Board may:\n(1) issue a license to a:\n(i) religious, fraternal, civic, veterans’, or charitable organization, association, club, or society; or\n(ii) hospital supporting organization; and\n(2) impose conditions on the license.\n(c) The period for which a license under this section may be issued is:\n(1) for a Class C per diem beer license, not longer than 10 days;\n(2) for a Class C per diem beer and wine license, 1 day; and\n(3) for a Class C per diem beer, wine, and liquor license, 1 day.\n(d) A license holder may purchase the alcoholic beverages to be sold under the license from a retail dealer.\n(e) The license holder may hold another license of a different class or nature.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=28-1309","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"27ee9cb5015426556df6161fcec6aba1ffe7fe4be306fd6f375fa9ac8ea7e2fa","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-28-1308","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-28-1310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
