Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 29–1501","heading":"","body":"(a) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 2 (“Issuance or Denial of Local Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the county without exception or variation:\n(1) § 4–205 (“Chain store, supermarket, or discount house”);\n(2) § 4–206 (“Limitations on retail sales floor space”);\n(3) § 4–207 (“Licenses issued to minors”);\n(4) § 4–209 (“Hearing”);\n(5) § 4–210 (“Approval or denial of license application”);\n(6) § 4–211 (“License forms; effective date; expiration”);\n(7) § 4–212 (“License not property”);\n(8) § 4–213 (“Replacement licenses”); and\n(9) § 4–214 (“Waiting periods after denial of license applications”).\n(b) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 2 (“Issuance or Denial of Local Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the county:\n(1) § 4–202 (“Authority of local licensing boards”), subject to § 29–1502 of this subtitle;\n(2) § 4–203 (“Prohibition against issuing multiple licenses to individual or for use of entity”), subject to § 29–1503 of this subtitle and Subtitle 13, Part III of this title;\n(3) § 4–204 (“Prohibition against issuing multiple licenses for same premises”), subject to § 29–1503 of this subtitle and Subtitle 13, Part III of this title; and\n(4) § 4–208 (“Notice of license application required”), subject to § 29–1504 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=29-1501","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"1ca35e108c6f51f9fa8bb2e64f32a25ed0df10eff291edc3d3de971cba209ab4","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-29-1406","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-29-1502"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
