Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 31–1006","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a Class B–theater license.\n(b) The Board may issue the license for use in a theater that:\n(1) is operated by a nonprofit organization;\n(2) appears on the National Register of Historic Places;\n(3) accommodates at least 1,400 individuals; and\n(4) is located on the south side of Hagerstown.\n(c) The license authorizes the license holder to sell beer, wine, and liquor for on–premises consumption only to individuals who attend a performance or an event held at the theater.\n(d) The license holder may sell beer, wine, and liquor during the hours and days as set out for a Class B beer, wine, and liquor license under § 31–2004 of this title.\n(e) (1) The annual license fee is $200.\n(2) The fee for a Sunday permit is $250.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=31-1006","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"c88a7457b108c9bf8723ad63b6fa8914a82d250b5ed5b909e0c5690753f90595","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-31-1005","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-31-1007"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
