Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 31–1801","heading":"","body":"(a) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 4 (“Renewal of Local Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the county without exception or variation:\n(1) § 4–402 (“Eligibility for renewal; process”);\n(2) § 4–403 (“Renewal application”);\n(3) § 4–406 (“Protests”);\n(4) § 4–407 (“Denial of renewal application”);\n(5) § 4–409 (“Multiple licenses”); and\n(6) § 4–410 (“Chain store, supermarket, or discount house”).\n(b) Section 4–404 (“Filing period for renewal application”) of Division I of this article does not apply in the county and is superseded by § 31–1802 of this subtitle.\n(c) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 4 (“Renewal of Local Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the county:\n(1) § 4–405 (“Contents of renewal application”), subject to §§ 31–1803 and 31–1803.1 of this subtitle; and\n(2) § 4–408 (“Issuance of renewed licenses”), subject to § 31–1803.2 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=31-1801","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"aebec697401fdd9de8e640ca8368a95a9bcd917f25dda83a7f2f789f115e092c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-31-1704","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-31-1802"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
