Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 32–1201","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a local caterer’s license.\n(b) The Board may issue the license to the holder of:\n(1) a Class B restaurant or hotel (on–sale) beer and wine license; or\n(2) a Class B restaurant or hotel (on–sale) beer, wine, and liquor license.\n(c) The license authorizes a holder to:\n(1) (i) provide beer and wine at an event that is held off the premises for which the holder’s Class B restaurant or hotel (on–sale) beer and wine license is issued; or\n(ii) provide beer, wine, and liquor at an event that is held off the premises for which the holder’s Class B restaurant or hotel (on–sale) beer, wine, and liquor license is issued; and\n(2) exercise the privileges of the license only during the hours and on the days authorized for the holder’s Class B license.\n(d) The license holder shall provide food for consumption at the catered event.\n(e) The annual license fee is $550.\n(f) This section does not require a holder of a Class B restaurant or hotel (on–sale) beer and wine license or a Class B restaurant or hotel (on–sale) beer, wine, and liquor license to obtain a local caterer’s license under this section for catering on the premises for which the Class B license is issued.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=32-1201","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"cd3e8e7f962d10c9bdd1d633eec165d5172e3e8e430cc531b49403d4d0a8b1d4","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-32-1104","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-32-1301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
