Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 32–2004","heading":"","body":"(a) A holder of a Class A beer, wine, and liquor license may sell beer, wine, and liquor on Monday through Sunday, from 6 a.m. to midnight.\n(b) (1) A holder of a Class B beer, wine, and liquor (on–sale) license may sell beer, wine, and liquor:\n(i) on Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and\n(ii) on Sunday, from 10 a.m. to midnight, only to customers who are seated at tables on the premises.\n(2) The license holder may not sell beer, wine, or liquor at a bar or counter on Sunday.\n(c) (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, a holder of a Class B–SWL license may sell wine for off–premises consumption:\n(i) on Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to midnight; and\n(ii) on Sunday, from 12:30 p.m. to midnight.\n(2) A holder of a Class B–SWL license may exercise the privileges under paragraph (1) of this subsection only if the licensed premises is open for business as a restaurant.\n(d) (1) A holder of a Class C club beer, wine, and liquor license may sell beer, wine, and liquor:\n(i) on Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and\n(ii) on Sunday, from 12:30 p.m. to midnight, only to customers who are seated on the premises.\n(2) The license holder may not sell beer, wine, or liquor at a bar or counter on Sunday.\n(e) A holder of a Class D beer, wine, and liquor license may sell beer, wine, and liquor on Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=32-2004","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"ddc4c6dde854ddf108e62bd93f1918800288831909f3c529f2f1878aca375dfa","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-32-2003","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-32-2005"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
