Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 33–1501","heading":"","body":"(a) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 2 (“Issuance or Denial of Local Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the county without exception or variation:\n(1) § 4–202 (“Authority of local licensing boards”);\n(2) § 4–205 (“Chain store, supermarket, or discount house”);\n(3) § 4–206 (“Limitations on retail sales floor space”);\n(4) § 4–207 (“Licenses issued to minors”);\n(5) § 4–209 (“Hearing”);\n(6) § 4–210 (“Approval or denial of license application”);\n(7) § 4–211 (“License forms; effective date; expiration”);\n(8) § 4–213 (“Replacement licenses”); and\n(9) § 4–214 (“Waiting periods after denial of license applications”).\n(b) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 2 (“Issuance or Denial of Local Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the county:\n(1) § 4–203 (“Prohibition against issuing multiple licenses to individual or for use of entity”), subject to Subtitle 13, Part III and Subtitle 16, Part II of this title;\n(2) § 4–204 (“Prohibition against issuing multiple licenses for same premises”), subject to Subtitle 13, Part III of this title;\n(3) § 4–208 (“Notice of license application required”), subject to § 33–1502 of this subtitle; and\n(4) § 4–212 (“License not property”), subject to § 33–1503 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=33-1501","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"75982f6a62452c1296da034ec283b564f4b50380237a3a5a2cce3f3e915665be","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-33-1408","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-33-1502"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
