Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 33–2502","heading":"","body":"(a) From 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. on any day, an individual may not consume alcoholic beverages in:\n(1) an establishment open to the public;\n(2) a place of public entertainment; or\n(3) a place at which setups or other component parts of mixed alcoholic beverages are sold under a license issued under the Business Regulation Article.\n(b) An owner or a manager of an establishment or a place specified in subsection (a) of this section may not knowingly allow consumption of alcoholic beverages between the hours specified in subsection (a) of this section.\n(c) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $4,000.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=33-2502","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"1f4cb5dbd31147d2e2c6799908daa38f34b70e5b01b8fb8e8d521787f7774e42","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-33-2501","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-33-2503"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
