Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 4–1206","heading":"","body":"(a) A local licensing board may issue a license to dispose of stock for a period not exceeding 10 consecutive days.\n(b) (1) A license holder may dispose of the license holder’s stock of alcoholic beverages if:\n(i) the license has been canceled, revoked, or suspended;\n(ii) renewal has been denied by the local licensing board; or\n(iii) a renewal license has been granted by the local licensing board and a court on judicial review has reversed the local licensing board’s decision.\n(2) A license holder that disposes of stock may sell the stock at retail or to a licensed wholesaler.\n(3) A license does not authorize the license holder to purchase alcoholic beverages for resale.\n(c) The fee for a license under this section is $5 per day.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=4-1206","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"1f429831a489a876c993b7894ca0caa6f1dd7324749133796fab79f129581597","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-1205","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-1207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
