Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 4–306","heading":"","body":"(a) For a license issued by a local licensing board for the use of a corporation or club, the license holder may substitute on the license the name of a different officer for the name of any officer who:\n(1) has died;\n(2) has retired; or\n(3) no longer holds an office in the corporation or club.\n(b) The license holder shall file with the local licensing board an affidavit that contains:\n(1) the substitution of the officer;\n(2) an explanation for the substitution; and\n(3) in the case of a corporation, a statement that the ownership of the corporation has not changed.\n(c) On receipt of the affidavit and after determining that the applicant qualifies under this article, the local licensing board shall:\n(1) amend its records; and\n(2) issue a corrected license.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=4-306","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"7f5b3e4f8ec29f9c319ccd7441081aee6d06557d76c1e347000538aab1a7d9c7","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-305","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-401"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
