Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 4–402","heading":"","body":"(a) Subject to §§ 4–406 and 4–407 of this subtitle, a holder of an expiring license is entitled to an annual license renewal:\n(1) on the approval of the license renewal application by the local licensing board;\n(2) on payment of the annual license fee; and\n(3) without filing or providing more information unless specifically requested by the local licensing board.\n(b) Except as provided in §§ 4–407(a) and 4–408(c) of this subtitle, a local licensing board shall consider an application for license renewal in the same manner as for an original application.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=4-402","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"4b175353bb8c6fa1711f9f08d4e2a7a53d66ba8ce9ca9e25e914512abf8332b4","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-401","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-403"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
