Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 4–405","heading":"","body":"(a) To be approved, a license renewal application shall:\n(1) state whether the facts in the original application have changed and, if so, the manner in which the facts have changed; and\n(2) be accompanied by a statement signed by the owner of the licensed premises consenting to:\n(i) renewal of the license; and\n(ii) search and seizure in the same manner as for an original application.\n(b) A local licensing board may not require the consent statement under subsection (a)(2) of this section for a retail dealer applying for renewal if:\n(1) the owner signed a comparable consent statement in connection with an original or previous license renewal application;\n(2) the consent statement under item (1) of this subsection is in effect for the term of the owner’s lease with the applicant; and\n(3) the lease does not expire during the term of the license renewal.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=4-405","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"0c1a2e6ed1ee33071a35a6b7481fbe1a286f517cc527d10e1593f848f1b64555","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-404","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-406"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
