Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 4–603","heading":"","body":"(a) Revocation or suspension procedures may be started:\n(1) by a local licensing board, at the local licensing board’s initiative;\n(2) on the complaint of a peace officer;\n(3) if the license holder is located in a municipality that is within a county, on the complaint of the mayor and council of the municipality; or\n(4) on the written complaint of at least 10 residents, real estate owners, or voters of the precinct in which the licensed premises are located.\n(b) A license holder against whom proceedings under this section are brought shall:\n(1) be entitled to a hearing on the charges in the complaint; and\n(2) receive notice of the hearing at least 10 days before the hearing date.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=4-603","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"3a20f1660657da504464197b8d0447f932bf800bbde7dd487fade69093599e9a","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-602","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-604"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
