Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 4–908","heading":"","body":"(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a party of record to a review of a decision of a local licensing board to the circuit court may appeal the decision of the court:\n(1) to the Appellate Court of Maryland; or\n(2) by certiorari, to the Supreme Court of Maryland.\n(b) The Appellate Court of Maryland or the Supreme Court of Maryland may not stay a decision by a local licensing board to impose sanctions on a license holder if:\n(1) an appeal of the decision of the circuit court is made under this subtitle; and\n(2) the decision of the circuit court affirmed the decision of the board.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=4-908","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"2ffc7a4657892d1c6d2ac60584007be9615888f9d3d9e0e41de133b44955e352","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-907","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-4-1001"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
