Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 5–108","heading":"","body":"(a) This section does not apply to a temporary delivery agreement under § 2–209(c) of this article for a beer festival or a wine and beer festival.\n(b) (1) (i) This paragraph does not apply to a franchisor that annually produces 20,000 or fewer barrels of beer in aggregate, in conjunction with any affiliate.\n(ii) Notwithstanding the terms of a beer franchise agreement, a franchisor may not terminate or refuse to continue or renew a beer franchise agreement, or cause a franchisee to resign from a beer franchise agreement, without good cause.\n(2) For purposes of paragraph (1) of this subsection, good cause includes the revocation of a franchisee’s license to do business in the State.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=5-108","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"3206df2989a52989e23ea74fa3a2737cd419947b354a93bd8cb9cb3c903b63db","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-5-107","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-5-109"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
