Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 6–323","heading":"","body":"(a) In this section, “AWOL machine” means an Alcohol Without Liquid device, a Vaportini, or any similar device that mixes an alcoholic product with pure oxygen or other gas to produce a vaporized product that can be inhaled.\n(b) A person may not:\n(1) use an AWOL machine to inhale alcohol vapor or otherwise introduce alcohol in any form into the human body; or\n(2) with the intent to introduce alcohol into the human body, possess, purchase, transfer, or offer for sale or use an AWOL machine.\n(c) (1) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000.\n(2) Each violation of this section is a separate offense.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=6-323","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"e39811416a540fa919e85179836f7d4856c81ce3aa61f5c72c98f8622283bc86","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-6-322","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-6-326"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
