Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 9–1004","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a Class C (volunteer company) beer, wine, and liquor license.\n(b) The Board may issue the license for use by:\n(1) a volunteer fire company;\n(2) a volunteer ambulance company; or\n(3) a combined volunteer fire and ambulance company.\n(c) The license authorizes the license holder to sell beer, wine, and liquor for on–premises or off–premises consumption.\n(d) A customer need not be a member of the company for which the license is issued or a member’s guest.\n(e) The license holder may sell beer, wine, and liquor during the hours and days as set out for a Class C beer, wine, and liquor license under § 9–2004 of this title.\n(f) The annual license fee is $500.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=9-1004","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"be0ed02c6c5730127ef42084697a6a3d9334fd74f00d3a55f7615882d2c1f3a3","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-9-1003","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-9-1101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
