Code, Business Occupations and Professions § 10.5–103","heading":"","body":"(a) A person shall register as a land professional by submitting to the Department:\n(1) an initial registration application on the form required by the Department; and\n(2) an initial registration fee set by the Department.\n(b) The Department shall assign a registration number and issue a registration certificate to each person that meets the requirements of subsection (a) of this section.\n(c) A registration under this title is valid for 2 years from the effective date of the registration and may be renewed by submitting to the Department:\n(1) a registration renewal application on the form required by the Department; and\n(2) a registration renewal fee set by the Department.","path":["Article - Business Occupations and Professions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbo\u0026section=10.5-103","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:13Z","sha256":"895de8529125f5508ff20809c2434eb4722f33e8fbd9700bbf593425787eadd7","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-10.5-102","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-10.5-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
