Code, Business Occupations and Professions § 14–312","heading":"","body":"(a) If an applicant qualifies for a license under this subtitle, the Board shall send the applicant a notice that states that:\n(1) the applicant has qualified for a license; and\n(2) on receipt of a license fee set by the Board, the Board will issue a license to the applicant.\n(b) On payment of the license fee, the Board shall issue a license to each applicant who meets the requirements of this subtitle.\n(c) The Board shall include on each license that the Board issues:\n(1) the full name of the licensee; and\n(2) the registration number assigned by the Board to the licensee.\n(d) Subject to any regulation that the Board adopts, it shall replace any lost, mutilated, or destroyed license certificate on:\n(1) request of the licensee; and\n(2) payment of the replacement fee set by the Board.","path":["Article - Business Occupations and Professions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbo\u0026section=14-312","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:13Z","sha256":"767a78025ac240256415d5934155a571a6d4fb16f6f0b66eceea63d9670c5a78","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-14-311","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-14-313"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
