Code, Business Occupations and Professions § 14–506","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as otherwise provided under this section, an individual whose license has been suspended or revoked under § 14-317 of this title may not practice engineering in any manner as:\n(1) an associate, agent, employee, or other subordinate of a professional engineer; or\n(2) a principal, associate, agent, employee, or other subordinate of a corporation or partnership that provides engineering services.\n(b) The prohibition set forth under subsection (a) of this section does not apply to an individual while practicing engineering:\n(1) as an officer or employee of the federal government, as provided under § 14-301(b)(1) of this title;\n(2) as an employee of a regulated utility company, as provided under § 14-301(b)(2) of this title; or\n(3) as an officer or employee of a corporation, subject to the conditions provided under § 14-302 of this title.","path":["Article - Business Occupations and Professions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbo\u0026section=14-506","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:13Z","sha256":"55792f06c1a2cde1cb7c392758eb179f56d2b5d7e3c2c71a3ccb66a33c37523d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-14-505","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-14-507"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
