Code, Business Occupations and Professions § 16–311","heading":"","body":"(a) The Commission shall:\n(1) transmit to the Appraisal Subcommittee of the Federal Financial Institutions Examinations Council a roster of State certified and licensed appraisers as required by § 1109(a)(1) of the federal Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989; and\n(2) collect and transmit to the appropriate federal authority those fees required by § 1109(a)(2) of the federal Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989.\n(b) (1) There is a Federal Appraisal Fee Fund within the Commission.\n(2) The Fund is a special account to be used to disburse money to the appropriate federal authority under subsection (a)(2) of this section.","path":["Article - Business Occupations and Professions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbo\u0026section=16-311","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:13Z","sha256":"cd4a237d8d462125ffa9d531c6b0e2701dd1d4af71e772f77463c76af73376f7","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-16-310","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-16-312"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
