Code, Business Occupations and Professions § 16–3A–08","heading":"","body":"(a) The Commission shall reinstate the license of an individual who has failed to renew a license for any reason if the individual:\n(1) applies to the Commission for reinstatement within 5 years after the license expires;\n(2) meets the renewal requirements under § 16–3A–07 of this subtitle; and\n(3) in addition to the renewal fee required under § 16–3A–07 of this subtitle, pays to the Commission a reinstatement fee set by the Commission.\n(b) The Commission may not reinstate the license of an individual who for any reason fails to apply for reinstatement within 5 years after the license has expired.","path":["Article - Business Occupations and Professions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbo\u0026section=16-3A-08","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:13Z","sha256":"517ec0df5caef9e7c5a85f44d26e091911beb087360d6c548e66b3f94004a804","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-16-3a-07","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-16-401"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
