Code, Business Occupations and Professions § 17–208","heading":"","body":"(a) The Commission may adopt:\n(1) reasonable bylaws for the conduct of its proceedings;\n(2) reasonable regulations for the conduct of hearings;\n(3) reasonable regulations to govern applications for licenses; and\n(4) subject to subsection (c) of this section, reasonable regulations to carry out this title.\n(b) The Commission shall adopt guidelines that establish a schedule for the prompt and timely processing and resolution of each complaint made to the Commission.\n(c) The Commission may not adopt a regulation that would allow the issuance of a conditional or temporary license.\n(d) The Commission:\n(1) at least once every 2 years, shall provide a copy of the regulations adopted under this title to each licensee; and\n(2) on request of any person, shall make available a copy of the regulations to that person.","path":["Article - Business Occupations and Professions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbo\u0026section=17-208","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:13Z","sha256":"355394062f24d454367c5c51b9a2350eb7206c515e5c733e7a5f2dd678ba9afa","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-17-207","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-17-209"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
