Code, Business Occupations and Professions § 17–318","heading":"","body":"(a) To change the name of a licensee or a firm on a license certificate and pocket card, a licensee shall submit to the Commission:\n(1) an application on the form that the Commission provides;\n(2) the license certificate and pocket card of the licensee;\n(3) any documentation about the name change that the Commission requires; and\n(4) a fee set by the Commission.\n(b) On receipt of the application, fee, and any required documentation, the Commission shall issue, to the licensee, a new license certificate and pocket card containing the new name of the licensee or firm.","path":["Article - Business Occupations and Professions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbo\u0026section=17-318","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:13Z","sha256":"0b536885f2cbb573aba7200ace2af8473c0ffa2f1b1c377cf1bdeef51d5c1bbb","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-17-317","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-17-319"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
