Code, Business Occupations and Professions § 18–202","heading":"","body":"(a) In addition to any powers set forth elsewhere, the Secretary may:\n(1) adopt regulations to carry out this title;\n(2) use any member of the Department of State Police, as necessary, to carry out and enforce this title; and\n(3) make inquiries and conduct an investigation regarding any applicant for a license or for registration.\n(b) In addition to any duties set forth elsewhere, the Secretary shall:\n(1) adopt regulations that set standards for the licensure of security systems agencies;\n(2) adopt regulations that set standards for the registration of security systems technicians and other individuals who have access to circumventional information; and\n(3) keep a roster of individuals registered as security systems technicians or as individuals who have access to circumventional information.","path":["Article - Business Occupations and Professions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbo\u0026section=18-202","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:13Z","sha256":"082d53c279804fdd4c5fc726149d0c406b5d27cd55a9a3622ea46d98b5d1a71c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-18-201","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-18-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
