Code, Business Occupations and Professions § 4–312","heading":"","body":"(a) The Board shall reinstate the license of an individual who, for any reason, has failed to renew the license if the individual:\n(1) applies to the Board for reinstatement within 5 years after the license expires;\n(2) meets the renewal requirements for that license under § 4-310 of this subtitle; and\n(3) pays to the Board a reinstatement fee established by the Board in accordance with § 4-206 of this title, in addition to the renewal fee required under § 4-310 of this subtitle.\n(b) If an individual has failed to renew a license for any reason and then applies to the Board for reinstatement more than 5 years after the license has expired, the Board shall reinstate the license only if the individual:\n(1) meets the renewal requirements for that license under § 4-310 of this subtitle;\n(2) pays to the Board a reinstatement fee established by the Board in accordance with § 4-206 of this title, in addition to the renewal fee required under § 4-310 of this subtitle; and\n(3) passes the examination required by the Board.","path":["Article - Business Occupations and Professions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbo\u0026section=4-312","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:13Z","sha256":"14810cfcf653a086ccd2484aadfe5a880a386a28b235a934ca71bed0e5a3af38","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-4-310","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-4-313"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
