Code, Business Occupations and Professions § 5–204","heading":"","body":"(a) A majority of the members then serving on the Board is a quorum.\n(b) No formal action may be taken by the Board without the approval of a majority of the members of the Board eligible to vote.\n(c) The Board shall meet at least once a month, at the times and places that the Board determines.\n(d) Subject to the State budget, each member of the Board is entitled to:\n(1) a reasonable fee set by the Board for each day on which the member is engaged in the duties of office; and\n(2) reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations.\n(e) The Board may employ a staff in accordance with the State budget.\n(f) The Board shall have its principal office in Baltimore City.","path":["Article - Business Occupations and Professions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbo\u0026section=5-204","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:13Z","sha256":"b673586eb9ab631843f8c8101042522917082558dc2eb287817990f60d46a0f5","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-5-203","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-5-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
