Code, Business Occupations and Professions § 6–303","heading":"","body":"This subtitle does not require:\n(1) a public utility company to employ an electrician licensed by the State Board to represent the company while the company is engaging in the business of providing electrical services to a facility of the company that:\n(i) is regulated by the Public Service Commission; and\n(ii) is located on any premises, roadway, or right–of–way in which the company has a lawful interest;\n(2) an employee of a public utility company to hold a State license while the employee provides electrical services to a facility of the company that:\n(i) is regulated by the Public Service Commission; and\n(ii) is located on any premises, roadway, or right–of–way in which the company has a lawful interest; or\n(3) a person to hold a license issued by the State Board if the person:\n(i) is licensed or registered under Title 18 of this article to provide security system services and is acting within the scope of that license;\n(ii) holds a license issued under Title 12 of this article and is acting within the scope of that license;\n(iii) holds a license issued under Title 9A of the Business Regulation Article and is acting within the scope of that license; or\n(iv) provides wireless security systems in compliance with Title 19, Subtitle 9 of the Business Regulation Article.","path":["Article - Business Occupations and Professions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbo\u0026section=6-303","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:13Z","sha256":"1761b5f433a834fa6e5412a813a610acafe961b46c5705e6d055805b2c7e6344","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-6-302","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-occupations-and-professions-6-304"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
