Code, Business Regulation § 11–309","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as otherwise provided in § 10-226 of the State Government Article, before the Commission takes any final action under § 11-308 of this subtitle, it shall give the person against whom the action is contemplated an opportunity for a hearing before the Commission or, as provided under § 11-310 of this subtitle, a hearing committee.\n(b) The Commission shall give notice and hold the hearing in accordance with Title 10, Subtitle 2 of the State Government Article.\n(c) If, after due notice, the person against whom the action is contemplated does not appear, nevertheless the Commission may hear and determine the matter.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=11-309","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"247c3e628fb299e9c41afd1493278910b04dfaefcf1fe50cf209286284e0bc43","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-11-308","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-11-310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
