Code, Business Regulation § 11–406","heading":"","body":"After all deductions from the Special Fund as required by §§ 11-403, 11-404, and 11-404.1 of this subtitle are made, money that remains in the Special Fund shall be allocated in the following way:\n(1) 50% to the Maryland Agricultural Education and Rural Development Assistance Fund established under § 2-206 of the State Finance and Procurement Article, with one-third of these funds to be allocated to support the operations of the Rural Maryland Council; and\n(2) 50% to be allocated in the following way:\n(i) 70% to the Maryland-Bred Race Fund; and\n(ii) 30% to the Maryland Standardbred Race Fund, to be divided equally between the Sire Stakes Program and the Foaled Stakes Program.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=11-406","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"eb5e03e55bec90b8e3aaf81a4a03456498030edc0c75b34b45d61d4b70e20411","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-11-405","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-11-501"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
