Code, Business Regulation § 11–508","heading":"","body":"(a) If an applicant qualifies for a license under this title, the Commission shall send the applicant a notice stating:\n(1) the fact that the applicant has qualified for a license;\n(2) the dates of the race meeting awarded;\n(3) the total number of racing days awarded; and\n(4) the kind of racing to be held.\n(b) Before the Commission may issue a license to an applicant, the applicant shall pay to the Commission a license fee of $25 for each racing day of a race meeting.\n(c) A licensee shall pay each year $3,000 to the Maryland Horse Breeders Association, Inc.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=11-508","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"065b4203f348ca86a461d3724f8502593efdf94947bddce3a10d67082a0d9272","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-11-507","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-11-509"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
