Code, Business Regulation § 11–608","heading":"","body":"(a) Subject to § 11-610 of this subtitle, if an applicant qualifies for a license under this title, the Commission shall send the applicant a notice stating:\n(1) the fact that the applicant has qualified for a license;\n(2) the dates of the race meeting awarded;\n(3) the total number of racing days awarded; and\n(4) the kind of racing to be held.\n(b) Before the Commission may issue a license to a person, the person shall pay to the Commission a license fee of $25 for each racing day of the race meeting.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=11-608","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"37b6aa63eea6373cceaaea1b75a604472c391d42a3bed8806e41590ac3546f9f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-11-606","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-11-609"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
